A low-stakes poker game for queer community connection

On Tuesday, December 2, Queer Poker is hosting a game in San Francisco’s SoMa District. Whether you’re a seasoned player or completely new to the table, this is a queer-centered space to learn, hang out, and play some low-stakes hands with good people.

If you've been looking for a way to meet LGBTQ+ community offline, this is it.

Queer Poker in San Francisco: What to Know

📍 Where: SoMa, San Francisco
📅 When: Tuesday, December 2, 2025
⏰ Time: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
🎟 RSVP: Search “Queer Poker” on the Lex App for more info

Who This Is For

This game is for LGBTQ+ folks of all backgrounds who want to spend a Tuesday night playing cards in good company. You don’t need to be good. You just need to show up.

A typical game includes:

  • First-timers, total beginners, and queers who’ve sort of played before, as well as semi-pros
  • Chill poker nerds who love teaching
  • People who just want a low-pressure space to be social

What to Expect at This Queer Poker Game

  • Beginner-friendly tables - we’ll teach you as you play
  • Low stakes - this is more about making friends than making money
  • Queer-only space - this event is specifically for LGBTQ+ community

These poker nights aren’t about winning big. They’re about meeting people, building queer community, and making San Francisco feel a little smaller, in a good way.
